I know this isn’t breaking news but it’s such a good story. Skaters will walk through rain, sleet, snow, fire, pretty much anything to get that feeling of urethane on smooth concrete. Skateboarding is arguably the most important youth culture movement in history and parks such as Turf which I remember looking at in awe in Thrasher and Transworld over 20 years ago are such a huge part of that culture.
